Who are the Junior Suns?

We are the feeder program for the West Bend East High School Basketball Program.

When is the Registration Deadline? 

The registration deadline is Sept. 1. Please get your player registered by that date so we can have an understanding of how many teams we will be fielding. The Registration form can be found here: https://forms.gle/e7Fvk4eZkLexSz5m7

What is the cost for the 2025-2026 season?

The cost is $225 for the season, which includes a $100 deposit due by August 31. New this year, players will purchase their own custom uniform with preferred number and last name on the back. The cost is estimated at $100 for the uniform package, which includes jersey, shorts and shooting shirt. We also offer discounts to families with multiple players - the first player in a family is $225, and all other players in the family are $200.  You can pay by Paypal https://paypal.me/WBJrSuns or by personal check. What does the $225 cost cover?

The program cost covers all WYBL league games, a minimum of three additional tournaments, and instruction. 

What does the uniform fee cover

The uniform fee covers jersey, shorts and shooting shirt. The uniform will remain the same next year, so if it still fits, you will be able to wear it for multiple seasons.

Are there volunteer requirements?

We ask that all families participate in at least one volunteer activity for the program, which may include working at tournaments and games we host, fundraiser events, and numerous other opportunities. In addition to the program fee, we also will collect a $150 volunteer REFUNDABLE check per child. The $150 is fully refundable once a family completes its volunteer requirement.

When are games played and where?

WYBL games (4th-8th grade) are played at southeastern Wisconsin schools roughly every other Sunday from November to March. Visit the WYBL league site to learn more about the league. Additionally, each team will play a minimum of three additional tournaments throughout the year - tournaments are decided by the team's coach.

Our third grade teams play in the West Bend League at the Boys and Girls Club against other local schools, including West Bend West, Germantown, Kettle Moraine Lutheran and more.

How often are practices?

Practices are two times per week starting in early October at West Bend schools.
