Club Information

The mission of the West Bend East Jr Suns Boys Basketball Club is to teach, develop, organize, manage and offer youth players the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of basketball while instilling life-lessons and values such as character, team work, discipline, respect and sportsmanship.

Teams:  3rd-8th grade. We have tryout to ensure the athlete is on the correct

Practices: Practices will be held mainly at Silverbrook however we sometime use area Elementary Schools

Fee: The fee will be determined on a year by year basis . The fee is typically around $300 per athlete. With a volunteer fee of $150 that is only cashed if no one in the athlete's family volunteers.  The fee pays the insurance, league (WYBL) fees, tournaments, uniform and shooting shirt. 

League:  WYBL 

• Games will start Nov 6th and run all the way through early March.

• Games are mostly played on Sunday

• Teams play two games when scheduled

• Teams are scheduled roughly every other week

• Game locations vary depending on which schools are hosting games that Sunday

• The WYBL has teams all over the SE Wisconsin area.  Kenosha to Sheboygan and Oak Creek to Madison.  Games are normally scheduled with the least amount of travel, but it eventually comes down to which schools have been booked to host on a particular day. 

• The normal schools that host are:

  • WEST:  Pewaukee, Waukesha West, Waukesha South, Arrowhead

  • NORTH:  Brown Deer, Germantown, Menomonee Falls, West Bend, Homestead 

  • SOUTH:  Burlington, Mukwonago, Oak Creek

  • CENTRAL:  West Allis Central, Pius, Brookfield Central, New Berlin Ike/West
