Registration will take place during language classes in September. Students should not register until they receive confirmation from their teacher that they meet eligibility requirements.
Benefits to be considered
St. John’s University credits are transferable to many other colleges and universities.
Courses are offered at a reduced tuition rate. Students pay $325 for the fall semester (3 credits) and $325 for the spring semester (3 credits). Payments are due in October and January. (Six credits for $650 is a considerable savings.)
College Advantage students who enroll in St. John’s University will receive a $3000 tuition grant for each of the four years of undergraduate study.
Eligibility
In order to participate in the program students must meet the following criteria:
Seniors:
Minimum 80% average in the five academic subjects (English, math, social studies, languages, and science.
A combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1080 or 21 on the ACT.
Seniors may enroll in up to three courses (or nine credits) a semester.
OR
Minimum 85% average in the five subjects without standardized test scores.
Juniors:
Minimum 85% average in the five academic subjects (English, math, social studies, languages, and science)
A combined math and critical reading SAT score of 1080 or 21 on the ACT.
Juniors may enroll in up to three courses (or nine credits) a semester in math, fine arts, language and English.
OR
Minimum 90% average in the 5 major subjects without standardized test scores.
The level 5 curriculum will be the same for College Advantage students and those who do not register for this program.
