Zoom allows you to host synchronous video conferences with your students. While moderating a Zoom call you can:

• Record the conversation

• Chat with participants

• Share your screen or 2nd device (e.g., iPad)

• Share a whiteboard 

• Create a breakout room

Flip is a video discussion tool with capabilities for sharing student responses through video in any subject. You can create prompts for students to respond to about anything. Students can:  

• Reflect on their learning in any subject area

• Debate a topic

• Practice speaking in a foreign language 

• Watch each others' videos and respond to posts

Padlet is an application to create an online bulletin board where you and students can add text, images, links, and videos. Free accounts allow you to make up to 3 Padlets but you can delete an old Padlet to make a new one.  Read more about how Padlet can be used in the classroom here.

The Google Classroom question feature allows you to have your own version of an online discussion board.
