With more than 20 years of teaching and coaching experience, Coach Zylla has worked with a variety of athletes and helped them improve their mental and physical performance. Coach Zylla is currently the head boys golf coach at Wayzata High School.
Lance is an accomplished PGA Head Golf Professional with over 20 years of expertise in golf instruction, player development, and golf club fitting. Recognized for his dedication to improving player performance, Lance was awarded the prestigious Minnesota PGA Player Development Award in 2019 and is an 8-time recipient of GOLFTEC’s Outstanding Achievement in Instruction award. His passion for helping golfers of all skill levels achieve their goals is matched by his ability to create a personalized and engaging learning experience.
Former touring professional turned teaching professional. 2024 MN PGA Assistant Player of the Year. 3x Collegiate National Championship participant. Competed in the 2022 World Long Drive World Championship. Before coming to Medina as the Player Development Professional, Wes coached collegiate golf at Mount Mercy University for the 22'-23' season. Wes specializes in coaching young golfers aspiring to play at high levels of golf, especially in short game, course management, and mental aspects of the game. Beyond golf, Wes enjoys snowboarding, backpacking, and fishing.
Thomas has been in the golf industry for 15 years and has 10 years of experience teaching high school golf. Some of the high school programs he has worked with are De La Salle, Del Valle, Granada, and Livermore in Northern California. A highlight for Thomas was coaching Team California in the 2016 PGA Junior League National Championship. Thomas is a PGA of America Associate, Trackman Certified Professional, Certified Aimpoint Instructor, US Kids Golf Certified Coach, and a Callaway Certified Fitting Specialist.
Michele competed on the LPGA Tour for 20 years and is a graduate of Indiana University, where she was a four-time All-Big Ten selection, a two-time All-American and the medalist of the 1987 Big Ten Championships. She was the head women's golf coach at the University of Minnesota from 2011-2020.
