About me

I hail from the small town of Marion, South Carolina. In 2017, I graduated from Lander University with two bachelor's degrees in Spanish and history. Seeking to further my education, I moved to Texas in 2018 and earned a master's degree in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from Texas State University. During both my undergraduate and graduate studies, I had the privilege of serving as an editor, presenting papers abroad, and studying in Spain in 2014. These experiences have shaped my perspective and deepened my love for the Spanish language and culture.

When I'm not teaching, you can find me enjoying video games, writing, playing the piano, or planning my next travel adventure. I firmly believe that every student deserves the right to better themselves through education, and I am committed to being a teacher who meets you where you stand to help you achieve your life goals.
