District Attendance Policy

A middle school student may be dropped from a course or denied course credit when he/she has been absent from school more than 20 days, in a full year course, more than 15 days in Physical Education, more than 10 days in a half-year course, or more than 5 days in a quarter year course (whatever the reason for the absence, except that absences for the observance of a religious holiday, “Take Our Children to Work Day, college visits, or absences caused by a student’s suspension will not count toward the total.)

Homework missed due to absence

Assignments for the first and second day of an absence, assignments can be found on Google Classroom.

To request assignments after an absence of three or more days, please email or call your child's Counselor or the Guidance Secretary, Mrs. Lisella at jlisella@wayneschools.com
