Showcase your element. Mrs. Sheldon has a program for you to use to design a virtual type of element "poster". She will come in next week and sign you in and give you a demo of something very useful for you for this task, and others moving forward in chemistry and outside of chemistry.
First do some research on your element. You can use paper sources like your textbook etc... or online, BUT YOU MUST HAVE THE INFO TO CITE USING CITATION MACHINE ETC... like you did for your slide in the past. Gather your research in a google doc and paste in the citation information at the same time, so that later you don't have to search again. Include the following:
1. Element Name
2. Element Symbol
3. Use 1
4. Use 2
5. Use 3
6. Electron configuration
7. Dot diagram
8. Year discovered?
9. Where discovered?
10. Who discovered?
11. Metal, NM, or Metalloid
12. Density
13. Melting or Boiling Point
14. Ionization Energy
15. Electronegativity
16. Bohr model diagram of your atom
First name included.
