Elementary and Middle School Testing
Students in grades 1-8 take the Terra Nova Achievement Test in the spring of each school year.
High School Testing
9th grade: PSAT 9
10th grade: PSAT 10
11th grade: PSAT/NMSQT 11, SAT, and ACT
12th grade: SAT and/or ACT if needed for scholarships
These tests will be given at school to all students. High school students will not take Terra Nova achievement tests. Testing dates will be announced in the spring.
ASVAB Career Testing is given every other year as scheduling permits. "The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school, and post-secondary students".
