Social Studies

Hey Everyone! My name is Jon West and I am excited to teach you 7th grade Social Studies this year. I graduated from Monticello High School in 2009 and received a bachelors degree in History from EKU. I recently graduated from University of the Cumberlands with a Masters degree in Education. This is my third year teaching. You may have seen me around the building last year or at my second job, Hibbett Sports.

I am excited to have you in class and cannot wait for the school year to begin! In class we will learn about ancient civilizations from 600 B.C- 1600 A.D. This includes civilizations in Asia, Europe, the founding of the America's and so much more!
