All students should have a good supply of pencils for their math work.
All 6th-grade students should have a graph-paper notebook and a five-function calculator.
All 7th-grade students are expected to have at minimum a five-function calculator, although we recommend students have a scientific calculator if possible.
All 8th-grade students are expected to have a scientific calculator.
Most teachers prefer a 3-ring binder for students to keep handouts and papers in one place. Some spiral-bound notebooks contain graph paper which can be helpful. Whatever system works best for you is the best choice. Teachers will give specific requests at the beginning of the year.
