The flute is a beautiful instrument that can be played in the 4th and 5th grade.

The clarinet is a reed instrument that has a beautiful mellow sound.

The saxophone is a 5th grade. ONLY instrument.  

Prerequisite: must play clarinet in grade 4.

Trombone is the bass of the band and because of that, some think is most important. It is played by moving the slide back and forth.

4th Grade percussion play xylophone. We begin drumming at the end of 4th grade and play both drums and xylophone in the 5th grade. Percussion students need to transport their instrument to and from school. It will not fit on the bus.
