Textbook:  Giancoli's Physics (6th edition)

Quarter Grades:  

Labs: 30%

Quizzes: 20 %

Tests: 50 %

-Homework is not graded but quizzes and test questions will be similar to the assigned HW problems.  Classroom problem solving will revolve around assigned homework so students are expected to complete homework on time.

-Quizzes:  lowest quiz score each quarter will be dropped

-Lab Reports: Points depending on the length/difficulty of the lab

-Unit tests:  at least two 30 minute tests per quarter

-Midyear and final exams will be worth 10 percent each of your course grade

Late policy:  Always reach out if extenuating circumstances prevent you from meeting a course deadline or to take a test on time; a late penalty may be applied, depending on the situation.
