What do you think I should pack every day for the summer program?
Children will need a nut-free lunch and a drink daily (extra water bottles are good, too).
Children will need a bathing suit, towel, and water shoes daily. Water shoes or flip-flops are recommended for participating in water play or swimming.
Remember that we participate in many fun and sometimes messy activities like science, nature, gym, music, and arts and crafts. Please pack a change of clothing in their backpacks for after-water play.
Please apply sunscreen to your child before dropping them off in the morning. We will have them apply again during the day. Staff are not permitted to apply the children’s sunscreen, so please teach your child how to apply it independently.
🚌 Field Trip Days:
On field trip days, please send:
A disposable, nut-free lunch packed in a paper bag or ziplock bag with your child’s name clearly labeled.
A disposable water bottle, labeled if possible, helps avoid lost items and makes cleanup easier.
Additional Items for Preschool and Kindergarten Students
To ensure your child’s comfort and preparedness during their time at Pegasus, please provide the following items to be kept on-site for the duration of their enrollment:
Diapers and Wipes: If applicable, provide an adequate supply for your child’s needs.
Rest Time Essentials: For preschool children staying for extended days, please send a blanket and/or other rest time items such as books, a stuffed animal, or a quiet toy.
Important Note:
Homeroom staff will notify you if any of these items need to be replenished or replaced to ensure your child remains comfortable throughout their time at Pegasus.

Important Forms
To ensure a safe and healthy environment for all children, we require the following for all new Pre-K entrants:
Physical Exam Report: A completed physical exam report, including an up-to-date immunization record, must be submitted prior to admission.
Student Health History: A detailed health history form must also be completed and on file.
If your child is unable to receive immunizations due to medical reasons, a written statement from a physician explaining the exemption must be provided before admission. For exemptions based on religious beliefs, a written statement from the parent is required before admission and must be renewed annually.
These requirements help us create a safe and supportive learning environment for every child.
Snacks
Please provide nut-free snacks for your child.
If children wish to bring a snack from home, we recommend options such as fruit, vegetables, cheese, and crackers.
All snacks from home must be individually packaged and easy for the child to manage independently.
Sharing snacks is not allowed for the safety of all students.
Allergies and Life-Threatening Medication
To ensure the safety of every child, parents/guardians must list all known allergies on their child’s registration form at the start of each school year. The WSCP Nurse will review this information directly with families and coordinate with staff to ensure everyone is informed and trained on allergy management procedures. Lists of allergies and individual reactions are securely filed and posted appropriately within the program.
Emergency Medication Requirements
For children with life-threatening allergies (requiring an Epi-Pen) or asthma (requiring an Albuterol inhaler) or other type of emergency medication, families must provide the necessary emergency medication directly to the BASE program, as we do not have access to the school nurse's office or student health files. To ensure immediate access in case of emergency, all medications must be stored on-site during program hours.
Please click the link below to access the required form. A designated space will be provided later for you to upload the completed form. You will also be able to return to your application and attach the form to your account at that time.
Provide Emergency Medication
If your child requires allergy, asthma, or any other emergency medication, please provide these directly to the program. Medications must be in their original packaging and labeled with your child’s information.
