Yuping Wang

Yuping Wang started her teaching career in 2002 in Taiwan. She came to the United States for graduate study and then received the master degree in Education from Boston University. She has taught in Diamond Middle School in Lexington, Needham high school, and Lexington Chinese School for the past ten years. She joined Wayland High School in 2022.

She likes to share her bilingual learning experiences with her students and expose them to Chinese and Asian culture as well as values. She recognizes all the students are unique and they have their ownership in learning. She provides choices to fit needs of different learning styles. Her classroom is 90% + Mandarin along with three modes of communication to help students to achieve proficiency.
