To begin our projects we talked about what the students are passionate about through Flipgrid.
Students chose a topic that they were passionate about learning. Students passions included: sports, cooking, gardening, art, and many more.
SEESAW BLOG: Here we had students post the artifacts they created for the first and second time they tried their passion to receive feedback from family, friends, teachers and the community outside of school. Their final passion projects are also posted on this blog.
Here is a presentation of our students' passion projects and the process they used to complete them.
After their first try of their passion, we held many expert conferences through Zoom where the students talked to an expert about their passions and how they can try new ways to improve their skills or try something different within their passion topic. The projects were shared with friends and family to expand their learning by providing feedback through glows and grows! Then they developed a new and/or better way to try their passion. The students reflected on their work through the whole process and final reflections can be found in their final projects.
All final Passion Projects can be viewed on our Seesaw Blog HERE!
