The WAC Dance Team will be holding tryouts for students on the West Allis Central High School pathway for the 2024-2025 academic year! This team will continue the WACDT legacy while providing an exceptional academic based dance experience. It is our honor to provide students with the opportunity to participate in this year-long competitive sport. Please have a parent/guardian review the information packet as well as all forms. Being a part of the team is a large responsibility. There are major time and financial responsibilities. We want everyone to be aware of the commitment prior to making the team.

Why WAC Dance Team?

SHOW SCHOOL SPIRIT!

The West Allis Central Dance Team performs at home varsity football and basketball games. We also perform at pep-rallies and various school events. Our team members encourage school spirit and pride!

COMPETE!

We compete routines at various dance competitions throughout the year in the state of Wisconsin. The team will begin their competition season at Badgerette Camp this Summer. The team will compete at WACPC Regionals in January 2025 for the chance to compete at the State level!!

COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT!

The dance team is committed to serving our community! We participate in Badgerette Kicking for a Cure in the fall where we raise money for the Susan G. Komen foundation. We also attend the More than Pink Walk! The dance team also works frequently with young aspiring dancers within our community through clinics and events.

TEAM EXPERIENCE!

The WAC Dance Team is dedicated to providing a positive and uplifting team experience. Dance is a year round sport which gives us the greatest opportunity for team bonding and experience. We love working together towards a common goal!
