The West Allis Central Dance Team is dedicated to providing an exceptional high school dance experience to the community of West Allis Central High School. Our competitive dance program builds work ethic and leadership skills while celebrating the common interest of dance. Our dancers are held to a high academic standard while sharing a passion for dance and school spirit. We attend an instructional summer camp and compete year round at various competitions throughout the state of Wisconsin. The team shows their school spirit by performing at various home games and school events. WACDT is a team of dedicated dancers striving to upholding the standards and legacy of those who came before them.
The West Allis Central Dance Team strives to serve their community in positive and effective ways! It is important to note that our dancers represent more than just the high school but our community as a whole!
Each dance season team members participate in the Badgerette "Kicking for a Cure" campaign! In 2023 we raised over $800! In 2022 WAC Dance raised and donated $982.75 to benefit the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation of SE Wisconsin. The team received a Badgerette summer camp scholarship for being a TOP fundraising team!
Recently the team visited Wilson Elementary Pom & Dance Club to work with them on their dance skills! The kids were able to share their routine and WAC dancers performed their competition pom routine. They ended the session with a Q&A. It was AMAZING to work with young dancers in our community! Inspiring!
