Our elementary libraries have the following policies in place in order to keep materials in good condition and in the hands of many students:
Every class has a checkout time every week, but individual students may visit the library any time, at the discretion of the classroom teacher.
Books can be kept for one week. They can be returned as early as they wish, or renewed if they need more time.
Students in grades 1 - 5 may check out up to four books, K students may check out up to 2 at a time.
Once a student has checked out their limit of books, additional books may not be checked out until the others are returned.
Students may checkout up to 3 ebooks or audiobooks on Overdrive/Sora our digital library.
We have students of various ages, maturity, and reading levels and our libraries strive to support all of our readers.
