The Wausau School District recognizes this is a trying time for everyone. Our Pupil Services team has vetted the following list of resources for our students and families to help with social and emotional needs during this time of school closure.


- There have been some changes to college admissions due to COVID-19. Many colleges are moving to a wholistic approach and not requiring the ACT score. Please reach out to your counselor or the college admissions team for specific requirements.

- In lieu of our annual Senior Class meeting, please see the Senior Meeting Slideshow that was emailed to all Seniors and their Parents on Sept 14 to help with life after high school and post-secondary planning. Counselors will host a Q&A on Sept 21, 2:30pm and Sept 23, 8:00am - the google meet code is: wecounseling.

- The UW System Fall 2021 Application is OPEN! Applicants can submit the application beginning August 1.

- Financial Aid Night is in late September, 2020. It will be a virtual meeting hosted by DCE. More information to come soon.

- The FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA) will be available on October 1st for 2021 Freshmen. Complete this application to receive financial aid for college during the 2021-2022 school year! For the 411 on Financial Aid, please check out the Financial Aid section of our website! You can access the FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov.
