Virtual Business Challenge

This competition gives you an opportunity to compete online individually, or in a team of up to three members for a chance to win up to $1k! The competition is available to all DECA members and participation is free. Team registration opens at 10 a.m. EST on Tuesday, October 1st and we hope you will consider competing this year.

The VBC is based on the Virtual Business simulations and consists of eight tracks: Entrepreneurship, Fashion, Accounting, Hotel, Personal Finance, Restaurant, Retailing, and Sports. Participants will test their business, marketing, and finance knowledge and skills in a simulated game-like environment, and may participate in one or more tracks.

It is not necessary to compete in Round 1 to compete in Round 2, as these are two separate rounds!

The dates and details for this year’s qualifying rounds are:

Round 1: October 15-25, 2024

Round 2: January 14-24, 2025

Final Round: The final round for the DECA VBC event for qualifying teams will take place live April 26-29, 2025 at DECA ICDC in Orlando, FL.
