Second Grade

Welcome to the 2021-2022 school year! I am so happy to have your son or daughter in my second grade class this year! It is going to be an educational and fun-filled year. My hope for this year it to provide your child with an education that will allow them to develop physically, mentally, and socially. My goal is to bring new ideas, excitement, and enjoyment to the classroom. I believe that the importance of teaching today is a way to target and enforce strategies that are vital to a child’s learning. My philosophy is to target these areas of a student’s abilities and strengthen their skills.

In addition to promoting a child’s educational growth and abilities, it is important for children to interact with one another. Promoting a hands-on environment greatly benefits the students. I think it is also important to give children time each day to read and write.

We have many fun and interesting activities planned for the upcoming school year. I will keep all of you notified on events and important activities throughout the year. If you have any questions throughout the year, do not hesitate to contact me. I hope all of you are as excited as I am. I look forward to meeting all of you soon.
