Audition paperwork packets will be given out on November 5th, with an audition workshop on Monday November 24th .

Group auditions are on Monday December 1st, and Major/Minor Role Auditions are on Monday December 1st, Tuesday December 2nd, and Wednesday December 3rd.
We have MANY, MANY roles to fill...you will be put into the cast where the committee sees you as a best fit. ALL ROLES ARE OPEN TO ALL PEOPLE!!
Rehearsals start in December and continue through January, February, and March. Rehearsals are daily after school, Fridays, and all day Saturday

Auditions are Tuesday March 31st and Wednesday April 1st, the cast list will be posted by 3:00 on Thursday April 3rd

Rehearsals start in April after Spring Break, and we will rehearse April and May with the show the first weekend in June. Rehearsals are daily after school, Fridays, and on some Saturdays

Students and parents, other family, and friends are asked NOT to share, screenshot, or otherwise pass around the cast list on social media or through text.
Please be gracious and humble in both your achivement and your disappointments. Remember, we have a show to put on and we need every single one of you.
It will be hard to work as a family if you do not act professional and kind from the start, and the cast list is the start.

Rehearsals are an intergral part of our show's success. If a student does not make rehearsals, we will not be prepared for a show to happen.
Every student is given a calendar, there is always a current calendar posted/available in the Chorus Room, and Mrs. Rose always has the rehearsal scheduled posted by the week on the Chorus Room door.
At the start of the run of the show we usually rehearse Mon, Wed, and Fri - 2:30 until 3:15/3:30. Mrs. Rose has another job after school on Tuesday and Thursdays, and depending on the week her start time is either 3:30 or 4:00, so rehearsals on these days at the start of the show are mainly to catch up on things.
Once we are about 8 weeks out of opening night, we rehearse later, usually until about 4:00/4:30
When we are a 6 weeks to a month out, and at high school, we tend to run later, 5:00/6:00.
We work around sports, students are asked to talk to their coach and split time between the two practices. If a student has a game or a meet, the student always goes to the game/meet.
Students must turn in an eligibility form every two weeks to maintain their good academic standing and participate in the Musical. If a student needs extra help, there are tutors available at rehearsal.
We never rehearse on a Sunday, and students DO NOT come into rehearsals over holidays/school vacations, Saturday rehearsals during Winter Break (February) are NOT mandatory.

We try to make every effort to supply as much of our musical member's costumes as we can.
However, there may be parts of the student's costumes that we need people to provide.
The students will have a full costume presentation and Q & A session at one of their first Saturday rehearsal, where they will be given their costume requirements for the current show along with due dates for the costumes to be into our costumer by.
Please make every effort to have all parts of the costumes in by the due date.
If you are having a problem finding a part of a costume, please let us know. We are here and ready to help!

We use a Google Classroom to keep our students and parents in the loop about rehearsals and other important information.
Please be sure to enroll in our Google Classroom ASAP, as there will be messages going out about the show starting with our first general meeting.
