Welcome to 6th Grade!
Welcome! My name is Mrs. Amell and I am a 6th grade teacher at H.T. Wiley. I was a Literacy Specialist in the district for the 11 years at both Wiley and Case, and prior to that I taught 1st and 2nd grade. I studied at Oswego State and Syracuse University (Go, Orange!).

Sixth grade will be filled with growth, discovery, and knowledge. Although 6th grade can be challenging at times, a little hard work and a positive attitude will make you successful. I'm looking forward to building a classroom community of learners where everyone is part of the team. We have a lot to explore this year!
