Hello! My name is Ms. Elizabeth 'Liz' Schorr, and I am the music teacher here at the Cunniff School. I have the privilege of working with students in grades k-5 throughout the school year. We meet once a week for 40 minutes to sing, move, chant, and play in our music classes. Students will also begin to learn how to read, write, improvise, and compose music. All this is done in an engaging way that allows students to become independent musicians who can hear, understand, read, write, compose, and improvise by the time they move on to middle school. Even more importantly, I aim to develop a love and appreciation for music in all students that they can carry with them for the rest of their lives!
