Mr. Joyce joined Watertown High School in 2013 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Movement Science from Salem State University. He also received his Master's Degree at Salem State University in Adventure Education in May, 2019. Students gain a great appreciation for badminton while in Mr. Joyce's class, as his motto is: "badminton is life!" When outside of the gym, you can see Mr. Joyce at Victory Field coaching WHS football and baseball players. If he is not teaching PE or coaching, Mr. Joyce loves golfing in his free time.
Ms. Glencross joined the Watertown Public School system in 2013 as a long-term physical education substitute and became a full-time PE teacher in 2014. Ms. Glencross studied Sport and Movement Science for her undergrad at Salem State University. In August 2017, Ms. Glencross graduated from Western Michigan University with a Master of Arts in Special (Adapted) Physical Education and recently completed her Doctorate in Education at Northeastern University. In Ms. Glencross' free time she enjoys playing ice hockey on an adult hockey league, boxing at Title Boxing Club, and coaching her Special Olympics basketball team. Ms. Glencross also coaches the freshman volleyball team at WHS and is one of the class advisors for the Class of 2022.
Mr. Flynn joined Watertown High School in 2017, after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Movement Science from Salem State University. In Mr. Flynn's free time he enjoys golfing, playing men's softball, and coaching. Mr. Flynn has coached football at Bishop Fenwick High School and Wakefield youth football. Mr. Flynn has also brought his coaching skills to Watertown, helping coach both the football and spring track teams. He also spends his summer training athletes for their specific sport.
Mr. Trant, also known by many at Watertown High School as “ET”, joined Watertown High School in 2014 after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training from Endicott College. Mr. Trant served as an Instructional Assistant in the Special Ed Department from 2014-2018, and began his role as Health and Wellness teacher in Fall of 2018. Mr. Trant has also been serving as an Athletic Trainer in the Athletics Department since 2014. Mr. Trant enjoys running in his free time and has been a part of numerous road races, including the 2017 Boston Marathon.
