Duties
Assign tasks and duties to Support Squadron Commander and Operations Squadron Commander
Make sure everyone on the cadet staff is doing their job on time
Plan and organize community service events
Input cadets' community service hours into WINGS
Double-check anything that is put into WINGS by any cadet
Hand out streamers, according to the rules and guidelines, every month
Run the staff meetings
Help the SASI (Chief) pick out national awards for cadets who deserve them
Always know what is going on with the corps
Always onboard for any staff job interview
Always have a hand in planning any big events the corps does
Approve or disapprove of anything that will go on in the corps
Job requirements
Must have held a top leadership position
Write an essay
Must be a SENIOR (3rd or 4th year)
Must uphold the Strike Policy
Always keep themselves and others accountable for their actions and deeds
Must know the Cadet Honor Code and Cadet Creed
Duties
Plan some community service events
Talk to the cadet staff about events
Fill in for Squadron Commanders if they miss a staff meeting
Plan APT (Awareness Presentation Team) events
Lunch hour tables
Talk to 8th graders as a whole and in their classes (before they make their schedules)
Work with the Raiders Commander and gym teachers (both middle school and high school) to create Crucible (PT APT event)
Have the Drill Team perform in talent shows
Fill in for the Group Commander if they are gone
Uphold the Strike Policy
Keep track of all staff strikes and write-ups
Issue out strikes to staff
Work with PT/Wellness Officer to plan the Bataan Death March
Job requirements
Must have held staff position(s) in the past
Must be an upperclassman (3rd or 4th year)
Must write an essay
Must be a leader
Duties
Ensure cadets are wearing their uniforms correctly
Class As
Class Bs with tie or tab
Class Bs without tie or tab
ABUs (Airman's Battlefield Uniform)
PT uniforms
Semi-formal clothing
Must wear the applicable uniform on the correct day every week
Must know and uphold the Military Ball dress code
Choose the type of uniform for a uniform day
Allowed to change uniform day in special cases with the approval of the Group Commander and instructors
Keep track of the ribbons cadets have been awarded on the Ribbon Tracker and on WINGS
Enforce 341s (Merits/Demerits)
Keep track of all Merits/Demerits of the entire corps on a spreadsheet
Distribute Merits/Demerits as needed
Be in charge of all enlisted cadet personnel
NCOs and all enlisted cadet personnel will report to the Chief Master Sergeant
Job requirements
Must have been an NCO
Must be a leader
Must take and pass the Promotion Test
Must be an upperclassman (3rd or 4th year)
Duties
In charge of all Mission Support staff (i.e. Force Support Officer, Civil Engineer, etc.)
Report to the Group Commander on whether or not the staff is getting their jobs done
Know how to do all of their staff jobs
Must be able to explain - to all of their staff - their duties and responsibilities
Be in charge of tracking staff strikes
Make sure the entire staff signs the Strike Policy
Inform the Group Commander if a staff member violates the Strike Policy
Must give their staff job completion deadlines
Report to the SASI (Chief) if their staff needs a special item to get their job done
Be in charge of Team Commanders who will report to the Mission Support Officer about any big events they have planned
If they have nothing to do, aid their staff if needed
Duties
Know the Flight Chiefs
Know their job and duties and explain them in more detail if needed
Put the Cadet of the Month forms in each flight's binder every month
The Cadet of the Month forms are due at the end of the month, but the earlier the better
Assign Flight Chiefs to create flight chants, flight mascots, seating charts, and deadlines for assignments
Flight chants can be discussed with flight
Examples of flight mascots: Alpha Alpacas, Bravo Bulldogs, Delta Devils
Obtain contact information of the Flight Chief
Ensure Flight Chiefs sign the Strike Policy
Inform the Group Commander if a Flight Chief violates the Strike Policy
