This was the first spread I designed for the first magazine issue so I used a more simplistic design. I chose to include candid photos to make the article feel more professional, and use one of them as a cutout for the mod. To accentuate the quotes, I used highlights behind words to show the reader how important what the person is saying is. I also picked a color from the main photo as the color scheme.
