Social Studies

Our first unit in Social Studies is about Native Americans. During this unit we will be discussing the different tribes that made up North America before early settlers came to America. The Native Americans in this unit include the Iroquois, Cheyenne, Hopi, and many more.

Throughout the course of the unit, we will not only be discussing how Native Americans lived and what kinds of things they did to survive, but we will also be doing some project based learning based on what kinds of houses the different tribes lived in and specific details about the tribe.

Below is a copy of your child's social studies project for this unit. They will be given class time, as well be expected to complete some work at home for a visual aid representation for this unit.
