Student Council is a school-wide organization whose goal is to promote leadership, spirit, service, community, and achievement at Valley View School.  This organization is designed to give students a voice by learning about the democratic process, designing appropriate ways to affect change, and developing the ability to interact with others.

Student Council members are an elected group of leaders who stand to serve, inspire, and empower our school and our community.

The goals for our student council members are to

• understand and practice a representative form of government

• model and  promote good behavior

• strive for high scholastic standards

• show respect and cooperation to our faculty, staff and fellow students

• establish a positive school environment

• further develop a sense of community 

• encourage others to demonstrate leadership and school spirit

• develop an awareness of differences and diversity

• continue to better themselves and the people around them

• make positive change within our school and community
