Career & Technical Education Pathways (CTE)
This CCCTI certificate offers students the opportunity to gain basic undercar skills. The full certificate requires seven CCCTI courses offered over four blocks. All courses are offered at the high school. Additional skills can be gained by taking advanced high school automotive courses.
This CCCTI certificate falls in the mechanical engineering field and focuses on CAD and 3D Modeling. The full certificate requires four CCCTI courses offered over two blocks. All courses are offered at the high school. Additional related skills can be gained by taking other high school drafting courses.
This CCCTI certificate offers fundamental medical skills and knowledge. This certificate can be completed in its entirety leading to a career or further education in nursing or as a partial entrance to the medical field. If interested in nursing, students can take the final course through the high school or the community college.
This CCCTI certificate offers students the opportunity to gain welding technology skills. The full certificate requires five CCCTI courses offered over three blocks. All courses are offered at the high school.
Associate Transfer Pathways (AS)
This pathway offers a CCP College Transfer Pathway leading to the Associate in Arts which is designed to support students wishing to begin earning an Associate in Arts degree and a baccalaureate degree in a non-STEM major. The arts pathway requires at least twelve(12) CCCTI courses (32 Credit Hours) across multiple areas (college transfer, humanities, social/behavioral sciences, math, natural sciences, and English). A few of the courses are offered on the high school campus but the majority are offered at the Watauga CCCTI campus or online.
This pathway offers a CCP College Transfer Pathway leading to the Associate in Science which is designed to support students wishing to begin earning an Associate in Science degree and a baccalaureate degree in a STEM or technical major. The science pathway requires at least twelve(12) CCCTI courses (35 Credit hours) across multiple areas (college transfer, humanities, social/behavioral sciences, math, natural sciences, and English). A few of the courses are offered on the high school campus but the majority are offered at the Watauga CCCTI campus or online.
