Q: What is one of your favorite Pacer memories?
A: My favorite Pacer memories are from our Christmas dances each year, our team meals before games, and our team bonding activities.
Q: Do you still keep in touch with any of your former teammates?
A: Yes, I stay in touch with most of the Pacers from my graduating class and a few of the girls who were a year or two older than me. We always have group texts going and love to get dinner together when we're all in one city!
Q: What was one of your favorite routines to perform?
A: I loved learning and performing kick dances! A few of my other favorite routines were Die Young (by Kesha), Cause the Beat's Hot (by Board Bangers), and our senior night dances each year.
Q: How were the Pacers perceived by the student body?
A: I think the Pacer Dance Team was well-respected by our student body. We participated in community service activities, school activities like Homecoming and pep rallies, as well as danced at every home football and basketball game each season.
Q: What years were you a Pacer and who was your coach?
A: I was a Pacer all 4 years of high school from 2014 - 2018 and was an officer my senior year. Our coach was Mrs. Laura Carson but the officers each year were responsible for choreographing each of our dances and attending dance camps to learn dances we could bring back to our team.
