Q: What is one of your favorite Pacer memories?
A: My favorite Pacer memories were when we would all get ready together on gameday after school. We would practice our dances and then bond doing each other's hair and makeup and eating dinner together.
Q: Do you still keep in touch with any of your former teammates?
A: I still keep up with a lot of the Pacers I danced with and they are some of my closest friends that I know I will have forever.
Q: What was one of your favorite routines to perform?
A: My favorite routine to perform each year was "Drumline" because we would spend so much time cleaning and making sure the dance was perfect and then see our hard work pay off when the crowd goes crazy at the end. This dance is definitely a fan favorite. I always looked forward to performing it each year during halftime at the football game.
Q: How were the Pacers perceived by the student body?
A: I think the Pacers halftime performances were looked forward to by the student body because of our fun dances. Everyone was always supportive of the Pacers as the students could tell how much work goes into our performances. We are an eclectic group of dancers with other interests as well so it's difficult to categorize the Pacers into one box.
Q: What years were you a Pacer and who was your coach?
A: I was a Pacer from 2018-2022 and the wonderful Laura Carson was my coach!
