This number represents the percentage of Watauga County Schools personnel who leave their positions with our school system each year. A lower number on this indicator is preferable, as it indicates consistency within our workforce.

How has this number changed over time?

Our turnover rate climbed to a recent high of 17% in 2016, but has since fallen to 12%.
