What does this number mean?
We can measure student engagement by the rates at which students attend school. Our attendance figures are drawn from data compiled in the Principal Monthly Report (PMR) during the third month of each represented school year.
How has this number changed over time?
Watauga County School has maintained a high attendance rate over all it's schools, varying just one percent over the past four school years and maintaining an approximate rate of 95-96 percent.
