The Dixie High School Theatre Club is a student oriented organization that provides cultural enrichment, educational exploration and loads of fun with some of the most enthusiastic students at DHS. Mr. Joshua Scott is our club adviser.
Theatre Club membership is open to all DHS students. You do not need to be in a drama class for membership. We include actors, technicians and pit orchestra students

Commitment to theatre is what the International Thespian Society is all about. The Society was established in 1929 by a group of college and high school teachers in Fairmont, West Virginia. They named their organization for Thespis, the Greek who, according to legend, was the first actor; their guiding principle was a dedication to excellence in theatre arts in secondary schools.
Those interested in joining the International Thespian Society must sign up with the Thespian President and/or Director to begin collecting points and pay an induction fee. For more information see Mr. Scott or Owen Scott.
