If a student fails a quarter of a class, they may be enrolled in Credit Recovery to make-up the credit. Students take a condensed version of the course.
Credit Recovery costs $20 per quarter enrolled and students can recover as many credits as possible.
Students can enroll in a "Basic Academic Skills" class to recover credit(s). This can be completed at the school or on your own time after discussing this option with your counselor.
Students must complete 100% of the coursework and receive a minimum score of 75% in order to receive credit.
A "P" (Pass) is added to the transcript.
The original "F" remains on the transcript.
This option does not improve GPA but does award credit towards graduation.
Does not count towards NCAA eligibility.
Students complete the original course in full.
Students receive a letter grade.
The failing grade, (F), is removed from the transcript once completed.
Cost is $75 per quarter of the course.
