Hello Room 10 Families,

Welcome back to another year of your child’s educational journey. I hope you had a refreshing, fun filled Summer Break. I am delighted to be your child’s third grade teacher and can’t wait to get started in person on Wednesday! I love Toro Park School and there is so much to enjoy in third grade. I am looking forward to all that this school year will encompass and the growth students will make academically, emotionally, and socially.

I consider you, myself, and your child a team that benefits from clear and prompt communication. I will work hard this year to stay in touch regularly through Parent Square and email. I also implore you to reach out to me with any important information throughout the year. Please contact me if you ever have any questions, concerns, or feedback.

There is an opportunity on Tuesday, August 17th from 2-2:30pm for you and your third grade student to enter campus, find the classroom, drop off supplies and briefly meet me. A mask is required to enter the classroom for everyone 2 years and older.

School starts on Wednesday, August 18th! On this first day of school, please have your student arrive on time with a healthy snack, lunch, full water bottle, extra masks and dressed in layers. The windows and door will be open most of the time during the school day for ventilation.

I will be presenting a lot of valuable information at Back to School Night on Tuesday, August 24th, so please try to make it if you are able to. This event is for parents and guardians, not students.
