Alma Start for returning students

Note: All remaining Alma Start forms will be published after board approval of the student handbook. Please check back after the August 2023 board meeting for additional forms to sign. 


Annual First Day of School Forms

For current students of the Wilmington Area School District, we have distributed several first day of school forms in an electronic format via a program called Alma Start. The forms online include:

Filling out these forms is now easier than ever! In fact, most of the data is already filled in for you!

To get started, go to the appropriate website below based on your child’s school. If you have more than one child, you can log in to any one of their schools in order to complete all of the forms without having to log out and back in. Once logged in, select your child's name on the left-hand side to begin filling out their forms.

High School: https://wahs.getalma.com/home/alma-start-login

If prompted, please do not register for a new account. You must use your existing parent/guardian account. This username is typically in the format of FirstName.LastName, e.g. “John.Smith”. If you have trouble logging in, please contact your school building secretary. 

Upon login, you should see a screen similar to the one below. Each of your students’ names are listed on the left-hand side of the screen. As mentioned above, upon clicking on the name of your first student in the list, you will see the list of processes (collections of forms) that must be completed for that student. Simply click on the process in the list to get started. Please note that forms must be submitted for each student.

Optional Forms

For parents who wish to apply for items such as parking passes, you will need to log in to Alma Start just like before, but you will need to follow two more steps in order to fill out the forms. As indicated in the screenshots below, you will need to click the “+” icon. Once clicked, please select the appropriate options in the drop-down menus to find the form that applies to your student (e.g. Parking Pass). Once there, select the appropriate process. Now you will be able to complete the process just like you did for the other forms!
