Kindergarten Registration Info
How will kindergarten registration happen in 2023?
In person at the Warwick District Office, according to the following schedule. Times are the same each day; come when it's convenient for you:
Each day times are 7:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Lititz Elementary Tues., March 7, 2023
Bonfield Elementary Thurs., March 9, 2023
John Beck Elementary Mon., March 13, 2023
Kissel Hill Elementary Wed., March 15, 2023
On your school's date in March, you will submit registration paperwork (see below), hear important information about kindergarten, and schedule a kindergarten assessment for your child. If you cannot come on your school's day, feel free to come on another school's registration date.
What will I need to register?
Parent photo I.D.
Residency proof (deed, lease, utility bill, tax bill)
Your child’s birth certificate
Your child’s immunization list to date
Also these forms, if possible. Otherwise they can be turned in before school starts:
Who is eligible?
Any child who turns five on or before September 15, 2023 who lives in Lititz Borough, Warwick Township, or Elizabeth Township
What if my child meets the age requirements, but I'm not sure they're ready for kindergarten?
We suggest that you register your child and allow him or her to go through the assessment process. Assessments will happen in Spring 2023. Our kindergarten teachers who do assessments will provide valuable information to help you decide. At any time, of course, you can let our enrollment office know if you'd like to have your child wait a year to begin kindergarten, and we will keep your information and contact you again next year.
Which elementary school would my child attend?
Find your address on this spreadsheet, and you'll know!
How can I find out more about my child's elementary school and upcoming events that I can attend there?
See our elementary school welcome letters for information about volunteering and spring events open to the community:
John Beck Elementary
Kissel Hill Elementary
My child doesn’t have all of his or her immunizations yet.
That’s OK. Submit the list of what you have.
What if I plan to enroll my child in a private school, or wait until the following year to send them?
Fill out our survey to let us know of your enrollment plans.
If my child is enrolled in Warwick's PreK, do I need to register them for kindergarten?
No. But you must schedule a kindergarten assessment time. Call the district office at 717-626-3734 after March 18 to schedule.
English is not my first language; how can I get help?
Call the Warwick District Office at 717-626-3734 and we will arrange interpretation services for you.
