Daily Class Resources
ELA Binder
Students are recommended to have a binder section for ELA. This was the template I recommended for keeping their items neat throughout the year.
Front - Guided Notes + Study Guides
Middle - Vocabulary - Word of the Day & Unit Vocabulary
Back - Classwork
Another strategy is a Morning Binder and an Afternoon Binder. Students can have their subject area classes for before lunch in the morning binder and another one for after lunch.
IXL Learning Platform
Each class will have their own unique code to access the resources. These resources are diffentiated per student. We will utilize this to practice important skills in both sections.
SSR Book
Students will be required to complete SSR during ELA class time as well as for 10 minutes at the beginning of FLEX. There are various times where we will be scheduled to go to the library to get a book of a specific topic, students are expected to keep this book for a set due date for in class assignments.
