Bee Keeper's Update from Dr. Balsbaugh

Dear Families,

As we step into the final month of the school year, I’ve been thinking about the spirit of The Greatest Showman—a celebration of courage, growth, and the unique brilliance each person brings to the stage.

This past year, our students have truly been the stars of their own stories. They have taken risks, learned new skills, faced challenges, and supported one another along the way. Like any great performance, it hasn’t always been perfect—but it has been meaningful, inspiring, and full of heart.

This last month is our grand finale. It’s a time to reflect on how far we’ve come, to celebrate accomplishments (big and small), and to finish strong with pride. Our classrooms will continue to be places of curiosity, creativity, and care, where every child is seen, valued, and encouraged to shine.

We also know that this time of year can feel busy and emotional. Please know that we are committed to ensuring that each student feels safe, supported, and celebrated through these final weeks. Every child who walks through our doors is someone’s beloved child, and we hold that responsibility with deep care.

Thank you for your partnership, your encouragement, and your trust. Together, we have created something truly special this year—and the best part is, the impact will last far beyond the final curtain call.

With gratitude and pride,
Amy Balsbaugh
Principal
