Measurement
Significant digits
Scientific notation
Metric conversions
Unit conversion using dimensional analysis
Density
Data analysis to determine accuracy and precision

Mrs. Lynch's Chemistry Teaching Journey
I was a junior when I had my first chemistry class. Math had always been my favorite subject area--not science, but chemistry sparked my interest. I liked the logic and problem solving that was used to explain things around me. In college, I decided to combine both chemistry and math by majoring in chemical engineering.
In my various jobs, I found what I enjoyed the most was training new employees (AKA teaching!). At that point, I decided to go back to school for my science education degree. I am very glad I did! I love to help students make that next jump in their academics with the skills and knowledge that this course encourages.
