Welcome! This is the Civic Engagement & Public Service club's official website. As Valley's non-partisan politics club, we aim to foster political involvement and discussions among students. We host fun lessons, policy discussions, guest speaker events, and community service events to provide opportunities for students to be engaged with their government.

We are also the Valley Christian Junior State of America (JSA), Empowering Youth Action (EYA), and GENup chapter (among others which you can find by clicking on Partners above!).

Lessons

We hold lessons on key governmental concepts & current events, such why it is important to vote, how to spot fake news and misinformation, and issues like transportation, climate change, and healthcare.

Discussions

We facilitate discussions around different perspectives on policy, such as on electoral reform or affirmative action, and provide an open space for members to ask questions.

Community Service

We make an impact in our community based upon the issues we see — writing letters, advocating for policies, and registering students to vote.
