Pete for America

Pete Buttigieg was the former mayor of South Bend, Indiana, an Afghanistan war veteran, and former candidate for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination. We held an event with the Deputy Regional Director for California, in our Presidential Forum in February 2020.

Tom Steyer for President

Tom Steyer is an American hedge fund manager, billionaire, and progressive activist. He was also a former candidate for the 2020 Democratic Presidential nomination. We held an event with the Deputy Political Director in our Presidential Forum in February 2020.

Rishi Kumar for Congress

Rishi Kumar is a Saratoga councilmember and high tech executive. He ran for the 18th Congressional District seat in California. We held an event with the candidate in November 2019.

Jim Zito for City Council

Jim Zito is the President Pro tempore of the Evergreen School District and was a former Republican candidate for San Jose City Council District 8. We held an event with the candidate in January 2020.

Jake Tonkel for City Council

Jake Tonkel is an environmentalist, social justice activist, and biomedical engineer who ran as the Green Party candidate for San Jose City Council District 6. We held an event with the candidate in December 2019.

California High Speed Rail Authority

The California High Speed Rail Authority is currently managing the construction of the high speed train line in California from San Francisco to Los Angeles. We held an event with a representative from the organization in February 2021.

350 Bay Area

350 Bay Area is a local climate change advocacy organization who are raising awareness about climate change and pushing for policies to address it. We held an event with a representative from the organization in April 2021.

Raul Peralez for San Jose Mayor

Raul Peralez is the current San Jose city council member for District 3 and is running for the San Jose mayoral seat in 2022. We hosted a Q&A with the candidate in February 2022.

FairVote

and the California Ranked Choice Voting Coalition are advocating for electoral reofrm policies that would allow more parties to participate (through ranked choice voting) and make the election process more transparent. We hosted a presentation with the organization in April 2022.
