Classroom rules and procedures
1. Do not disrupt class.
2. Be courteous, kind and respectful of others.
3. Use good manners.
4. ATTENTION: YOU MAY NOT RECORD THE CLASS (Audio or Video) WITHOUT ASKING ME FIRST.
5. Make sure the Chromebook is charged before coming to class.
6. Bring your textbook, workbook, Chromebook, paper and writing utensils every day.
7. Be in your seat when the bell rings, and do not get up without permission until the end-of-class bell. Do not put materials away until bell rings.
8. Do not put your head on your desk during class. Store your non-class related items close beside or under your seat. ATTENTION RE LAPTOPS: WHEN NOT NEEDED IN CLASS THE LAPTOP SHOULD BE CLOSED AND PUT AWAY.
9. Food, drink (other than water), and candy (including chewing gum) are not permitted in the classroom. Selling candy or any other items during class time is not permitted.
10. Do not talk at inappropriate times. Crude, vulgar, or abusive language or gestures are not permitted.
11. Phones and other electronic equipment not needed for class are not permitted per the new Indiana law.
12. Keep the area around your desk clean and clear of any materials. Do not throw anything in class. Make sure your area is picked up and in order before you leave the room.
13. Do not work on homework from other subjects when in French class.
14. Keep your shoes on, and do not put your feet on the seats and desks.
15. Assigned work must be turned in on time in order to receive full credit. Homework without a name will be considerate late; work that is illegible or has extra scribbles/drawings will be returned to be recopied and will be considered late, as will work written in anything other than pencil or blue/black pen.
I have carefully read Monsieur Costeur’s classroom rules and procedures. I agree to follow them to the best of my ability, and I understand that I may receive demerits or other reprimands if I fail to do so.
