Succulents

• Mitriformis - “Rubble Aloe” is a sprawling type of Aloe with creeping stems that usually can serve as ground cover. The thick and fleshy leaves are arranged in a rosette that may be erect or curve inward. Can also be used in containers. Summer flowers are orange-red while fleshy leaves are gray/green, triangular with toothed margins. Drought tolerant, not hardy. Height 6”, spread 7”. Full sun to partial shade.

Campfire - a group of succulents used for ground cover in dry areas, or for mixed containers, potted plants, or bonsai. Extreme heat and drought tolerant, but sensitive to cold. The campfire color has fleshy leaves in a “propeller” pattern that turns a bright flame color under cool night conditions. Height up to 12”. Prefers some light shade.

Ovata minor - “Baby Jade” - Branching shrub with stout stems. Rounded, glossy green, thick leaves may mature with reddish edges. In warm climates this variety produces star-shaped white flowers in autumn. Tender soft succulent - will not tolerate frost, but is extremely drought tolerant. Great for living wreaths, weddings, or indoor spaces. Garden height 12-24” 

Ovata sunshine - Branching succulent with stout stems. Rounded glossy yellow, thick leaves may mature with reddish edges. Excellent heat and drought tolerance. Garden height 12-24”. 

Delmara Red - With mat-forming succulent foliage and daisy-like 1” flowers, this plant thrives in heat and drought. Good for sunny rock gardens or banks (excellent drainage is a must). Ideal groundcover, tolerates foot traffic, keeping stone work weed free, Easy to grow, attracts bees and butterflies, deer resistant.  Huge eye-catching blooms, cover the entire plant for a show of intense color. Flowers continuously throughout the growing season, with repeated flowerings. Great in 4-6” pots, containers, baskets, and rock gardens. Vernalization is not required, nor a set daylength. Coral Reef Pink - This series has leaves with thin ruffled edges which add great texture and color to combinations or rock gardens. Recommended for 4-6” containers or as a stand alone. Purple Pearl Von Nurnberg - An easy to grow succulent that is great for rock gardens. Looks wonderful in small dish gardens combined with other succulents or cactus. Also great for green roofs. The color Purple Pearl Von Nurnberg is broad gray with pointed leaves. Full sun to full shade. 

Red Prince - An easy to grow succulent that is great for rock gardens. Looks wonderful in small dish gardens combined with other succulents or cactus. Also great for green roofs. The Red Prince is a fast growing Echeveria with large burgundy/red leaves that will fade to a pleasing matte color over time. Large bell-shaped orange flowers will bloom late spring. Vertis - An easy to grow succulent that is great for rock gardens. Looks wonderful in small dish gardens combined with other succulents or cactus. Also great for green roofs. The color Vertis is formally called Elegans. Delicate, rounded, florets of milky green. Height 4-8” with a spread of 4-8”. Full sun to full shade. 

Royal Wolfgang - Rosette formation with triangular shaped deep green leaves, white speckles, and small tooth-like edges. Full sun to shade. 

Desert Rose - “Red Lips” - white flowers with pink blush and edged in dark pink. Big, oval, succulent leaves are gray-green with pink edge. WARNING: all parts of Desert Rose are poisonous and should be kept out of reach of children and animals. Full sun to partial shade. 

Chinese Dunce Cap - A hardy succulent perennial with cute “dunce cap” shaped clumps. Continues to multiply and spread, making more “caps”. Late summer to autumn, it forms grayish-pink conical spires. Heat and drought tolerant, mat-forming, dense and spreading. Height 6”. Full sun. 

String of Turtles - Features succulent leaves with a unique turtle-like pattern on a delicate vining plant. A beautiful cascading, spreading plant ideal for terrariums, hanging baskets, and planters. Height 5", spread 12". Full sun.

Lizard - A sedum for seed that grows very fast, forming a mat of tiny pointed leaves. Starts out gray-green, but will turn a rosy color in high light as it matures. Drought and heat tolerant. Sunsparkler Firecracker -  A groundcover sedum type that is outstanding in mass plantings. Height 6-8”. Spread 16-18”. Firecracker has shiny red foliage with bright pink blooms. Full sun or shade.
