BHMS Volleyball

It is with heavy sadness that I stepped down as the BHMS Head Volleyball coach in May of 2019. On a positive note, I am able to use this time to dedicate towards my family and our growing list of activities. I am also able to direct some of my focus to teaching teachers in the field of Google Technology by offering teachers graduate credit as part of a Google Educator certification course I will be teaching after school. Ms. Regan Forrester, a Rebecca Boone teacher, is very excited to take over this program and help ready our athletes for our high school volleyball program.

We take a lot of pride in our volleyball program here at BHMS. We are a feeder program for Warrenton High School and everything we teach our kids is progressive in mind -- meaning we start small and build up so that the athletes get to WHS, they are able to transition easily. Our girls work hard, but they have a lot of fun. Following tryouts and teams are set, we conduct team building sessions, create big/sis little sis pairs, and work towards becoming game ready. We do fundraiser cookie dough yearly. Everything we make from our fundraiser goes back to our girls in the form of apparel, equipment that directly helps them, team parties, and our big team activity that takes place towards the end of the season.
