There are many ways local businesses and organizations can help students explore careers and prepare for the workforce. In addition to hosting career shadowing or providing work-based learning and employment opportunities, you can also support students by participating in activities such as:

• Guest speaking in classrooms

• Serving on career panels

• Conducting mock interviews

• Providing résumé feedback

• Participating in career fairs

• Hosting career exploration or business site visits
