Bridging the Gap: From Classroom to Career

Work-Based Learning (WBL) and other career-related opportunities connect classroom learning to real-world career experiences. Through cooperative education (co-op) placements, internships, career or job shadowing, and career exploration opportunities, Warren County Public Schools students gain hands-on experience, build employability skills, and prepare for life beyond graduation.

These opportunities are available to eligible high school students and may allow students to

• Explore career interests.

• Gain real-world job experience.

• Earn high school credit.

• Build professional skills valued by employers.

They are facilitated by each high school’s WBL Coordinator, who supports students and families throughout the process. This site serves as an additional resource to help students, families, and business partners explore available WBL and other career-related opportunities, understand eligibility requirements, and navigate the steps to get started.
